By the time I got out of college, I could write! My school emphasized communication and the joke was you couldn't get through a math class without writing a paper. I could crank out coherent 15 pagers without a problem. Late nights and editing as you write were great with me. Then years later, my seminary education ended with a theology class where we had the "opportunity" to write a major paper outlining our understanding of the Christian Faith. My professor described mine as "poetic". I still had it. Forget the 14 drafts that some folks went through. Then came ordination troubles and the world seemed to lose all bearing. And I lost much of my voice. I wasn't sure what I had to say any longer and it all went to a whisper.
Well, guess what folks- it is coming back!
Praise be to God.

Cool Blog - I finally thought to follow a link!! I think I'm getting the "Wright" treatment: no Candidacy here, but if I want to move, I can be released as a Candidate... we'll see if I can get that in writing...
